Hello

I grew up on a small farm in Middle Tennessee, where hard work wasn’t just expected — it was a way of life. My dad was also a contractor, and from a young age, I was right there with him, learning the ins and outs of construction. One thing I’ll never forget? Drywall dust. It’s the worst. No matter how much you sweep or vacuum, it finds a way to stick around — just like the lessons I learned during those long days.

Working alongside my dad taught me more than how to build things. It taught me the value of persistence, attention to detail, and doing things right the first time. It’s also where I discovered something important about myself: I’m a perfectionist.

That mindset has followed me into every area of my life — especially bookkeeping. Numbers don’t tolerate guesswork. They need balance, accuracy, and a sharp eye for detail. The same qualities I learned on the job site are the ones that make me love what I do today.
